CrewSignal uses SMS (text message) technology to deliver transactional review requests. This page explains how our messaging works and your rights and obligations.
CrewSignal sends one automated SMS message per completed service event. This message contains a personalized review request with a direct link to leave a Google review for the service business that completed the work. Message frequency is tied directly to completed service events. There is no promotional or marketing messaging, and no unsolicited communications will be sent.
Businesses using CrewSignal collect your consent directly, at the point of service, before any message is sent. When you provide your phone number to a business that uses CrewSignal (when booking, paying for, or receiving a service), that business will inform you, verbally or in writing, that you will receive a one-time text message requesting a review after your service is complete. A typical disclosure reads:
"After your job is complete, you'll receive a one-time text message from [Business Name] asking you to leave a review. Reply STOP at any time to opt out."
You will only receive a CrewSignal message if you provided your number to the business and received this disclosure. CrewSignal does not collect phone numbers directly from consumers, and does not send messages to anyone who has not done business with one of our business clients.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS rates from your mobile carrier apply to all messages you receive from CrewSignal. Check your mobile plan to understand the charges that may apply. CrewSignal does not charge you for receiving review request messages.
You may stop receiving text messages from CrewSignal at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Once you reply STOP, you will not receive any further messages from CrewSignal. Your opt-out request is immediate and permanent.
For support or questions about messages you receive from CrewSignal, reply HELP to any message, or contact the business that requested the review directly. They can provide additional context about the message or address any concerns.
If you have questions about CrewSignal's SMS practices or this policy, you may contact us at [email protected].
CrewSignal uses a carrier-registered 10-digit long code (10DLC) for all SMS delivery. This registration ensures compliance with U.S. wireless carrier requirements and reduces the likelihood of message filtering or blocking. All messaging strictly adheres to TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) regulations.
